Nancy, Amy, and David went to the Galápagos
Islands from January 2nd to the 12th. We flew from
Philadelphia to Miami, and from there to Guayaquil, Ecuador.
We spent the night in Guayaquil at the Hilton Colón
before flying to Baltra Island in the Galápagos Archipelago.
We traveled with Lindblad
Expeditions, for whom Amy worked during 2003.

You may notice on the map
that the equator passes right through the Galapágos. We
crossed it 6 times while we cruised among the islands. It
turns out that crossing it isn't very exciting :-)
